  • Greeting patrons, taking tickets & directing patrons to proper entry door into the theatre
  • Allowing or disallowing access into the theatre seating areas
  • Report any ticket problems to the Events Assistant on Duty
  • Familiarising yourself with concession area to provide assistance if needed
  • Answering questions and provide patrons with directions and other information regarding the theatre
  • Ensuring patrons follow theatre safety policies and that all fire codes are enforced
  • Distribute promotional materials for upcoming performances to patrons
  • Provide information and direct patrons to appropriate exits in the event of an emergency

What you can expect from us:

  • We have a Friends of the Exchange card, after working 5 shows you are entitled to 2 free tickets to a show or event (subject to availability)
  • A complementary tea/coffee while on shift
  • An opportunity to sit in and watch the show while volunteering
  • An opportunity to meet new friends and learn new skills
  • An opportunity to be part of an exciting, one-of-a-kind experience
  • You are welcome and encouraged, to volunteer as often as you like
