Richmond Film Society’s 2020 Twickenham Festival screening is the British musical drama, ‘Wild Rose’. A troubled young Glaswegian woman, recently released from prison, dreams of becoming a Nashville country music star, whilst grappling with the responsibilities of being a young mother of two children. A foot-stomping drama, featuring a bravura performance from rising star, Jessie Buckley.

Non-Member Tickets
Non-member tickets are £5 (full-time students £3). Tickets can be purchased in advance from The Exchange’s Box Office (in person or by telephone on 020 8240 2399) or online at http://exchangetwickenham.co.uk/events/ (subject to a cap of 70). To ensure that you secure a ticket, pre-booking via The Exchange is recommended. A further 40 or 50 tickets will be available to purchase on the door on the night of the screening (cash only) on a ‘first-come-first-served’ basis.
About Richmond Film Society
Richmond Film Society was formed in 1963 and has since screened over 800 films. Our objective is to bring our community the very best in World Cinema. Our seasons run from
September to June and attract an aggregate audience of over 4,000 attendees.
Films are shown at 8.00pm sharp on alternate Tuesdays (no trailers and no ads) and are screened at The Exchange. On screening nights, the Bar is open from 7.00pm and remains open after the film. Drinks can be taken into the auditorium and coffee, tea and snacks are also available. Film notes are provided for each screening and audience feedback is obtained via response slips.
