Spain (2018)

RFS’s season continues with a psychological thriller from Iranian auteur, Asghar Farhadi (‘A Separation’, ‘The Past’, ‘The Salesman’). Laura, a Spanish woman living in Buenos Aires, returns to her hometown outside Madrid with her two children to attend her sister’s wedding. However, the trip is upset by unexpected events that bring secrets into the open. Starring Penélope Cruz, Javier Bardem and Ricardo Darín.

Non-Member Tickets

Non-member tickets are £5 (full-time students £3). Tickets can be purchased in advance from The Exchange’s Box Office (in person or by telephone on 020 8240 2399) or online at http://exchangetwickenham.co.uk/events/ . To ensure that you secure a ticket, pre-booking via The Exchange is recommended. A further 50 or so tickets will be available to purchase on the door on the night of the screening (cash only) on a ‘first-come-first-served’ basis.

Richmond Film Society was formed in 1963 and has since screened over 800 films. Our objective is to bring our community the very best in World Cinema. Our seasons run from

September to June and attract an aggregate audience of over 4,000 attendees.

Films are shown at 8.00pm sharp on alternate Tuesdays (no trailers and no ads) and are screened at The Exchange. On screening nights, the Bar is open from 7.00pm and remains open after the film. Drinks can be taken into the auditorium and coffee, tea and snacks are also available. Film notes are provided for each screening and audience feedback is obtained via response slips.
