The Ideas Exchange Talks:

The Football Takeover

Monday 9th March 2020

The Football Takeover is back but this time we are Celebrating International Women’s day. The purpose of the day will be to celebrate Women’s football and Women in football to provide insight from practitioners actively involved in the game. Each speaker will come with a contemporary issue, problem or trend they face in their role and will offer collaborative solutions to inform future practice.

The ‘Ideas Exchange’ is a series of quick-fire lectures from a range of top academics.  Each thought-provoking talk is only eight minutes long (or short) and will cover a wealth of topics from media to sport! The talks are free for students in year 10 onwards and are open to the public (general admission tickets £5).

This years speakers:

Steve Jaye (Fulham FC Women’s manager & Football Development & Education manager)

Abbe Brady (Head of Department Psychology & Pedagogic Science) & Jess Boyd (Physical Education and Sport, Youth Development Lecturer)

Ali Speechly (Coach in a Premier League Foundation)
