A unique memoir of a lifetime’s friendships- from one of Britain’s most beloved literary companions. Michael will be in conversation with Ian Bruce, talking about his book a patchwork memoir of a lifetime’s encounters. Truthful and loving, sometimes elegiac, ,sometimes comic, it’s a celebration of the endlessly intriguing otherness of others. Michael is a patron and long-time supporter of Arts Richmond, so we are delighted he has agreed to be one of the contributors to this year’s series.
