About Richmond Film Society
Richmond Film Society was formed in 1963 and has since screened over 780 films. Our World Cinema seasons run from September to April and attract an aggregate audience of well over 2,000 attendees. The current season is to be extended by four films, with details to follow.
Films are shown at 8.00pm sharp on alternate Tuesdays (no trailers and no ads) and are screened at The Exchange. On screening nights, the Bar is open from 7.00pm and remains open after the film. Drinks can be taken into the auditorium and coffee, tea and snacks are also available. Film notes are provided for each screening and audience feedback is obtained via response slips.
